The outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has caused unprecedented disruption to global supply chains and dramatically shifted supply and demand patterns throughout the U.S. truckload market. In Coyote’s Q1 Market forecast, Coyote Logistics Chief Strategy Officer, Chris Pickett discussed two potential scenarios for the 2020 truckload market — one with a recession, and one without. He expanded on it further once the coronavirus started to spread throughout the U.S. in mid-March.
