Supply Chain Management Collaboration & Relationships is an introductory workshop designed for supply chain practitioners with experience in managing logistics and the supply chain. One of the “hottest” topics in supply chain management today is “collaboration,” yet it may well be one of the most misunderstood. Supply chain collaboration does not hold the same meaning for everyone. In this session we will define meaningful collaboration as a sharing of common values and visions, and detail why and how supply chain partners can develop meaningful collaborative relationships.
The workshop is composed of a session covering the basic concepts underlying all relationships with specific attention to collaboration. Individual sessions are devoted to types of relationships, motivations, shared values and visions, due diligence, and the elements of success and failure supported by examples. The sessions are highly interactive, built around a team approach to case work.
This workshop can be delivered in one day, with a focus on concepts in the morning and application and case studies in the afternoon.
